Lester was born the second son and third child of Livia Constantiniu and Ryan Griffin. The first few years of his life were simple and uneventful even the birth of his twin sisters when he was two didn't faze him. It wasn't until the second time he became an older sibling that he began to feel crowded, realized there were too many children in the house. He'd always been on the shy side, but after the birth of his brother he sought solace in solitude, preferring to be in his room or outdoors. Anything to avoid being around his family.

As Lester grew older, it was clear he was a sort of black sheep in the family. Sure, everyone in the family had their quirks, but for the most part his siblings were either gentle like Livia or outgoing like Ryan. Lester was inwardly focused, all his studies and practice with the lance were to build his own power, satisfy himself.

Livia was torn. She wanted her son to be happy, but she couldn't help but worry. Was he truly happy the way he was, or was he simply acting out of frustration? It was hard to tell with Lester. As he grew older, he turned more and more to his friends and activities outside his home, to the point where his younger siblings had trouble remembering who he was or that he lived there.

When word came of rebellion groups rising up against King Mitica, Lester ran out to join the first one he could find. Livia took this to mean he'd finally developed a social conciense, but in reality it was just the excuse he needed to leave home after discovering Livia was pregnant again. Plus, he hated the king and wanted to see him taken down a peg.

Lester is what most would describe as "a loser with the makings of a winner". He's intelligent, a critical thinker, a pragmatic realist, hard to fool. But his disposition is sour at best; he's a cynic through and through, overly analytical, and is bent on proving that no good can come from taking anything at face value. He believes he has superior insight that allows him to see fatal flaws in supposedly harmless people and situations, but he's usually wrong.

He's by no means an asshole. Sometimes he actually does try to be a nice guy-unfortunately, his people skills are poor at best, and everything he says comes out sounding arrogant, cold and all-around assholeish. Worse, he's blind to this fact.

He holds a strong dislike for King Mitica based solely on the bitterness in his mother's voice when she speaks of him. His mother is a sweet, trusting fool and if she of all people doesn't like someone, they must be a real bastard.

Lester resents the fact that his parents have so many kids, but will forgive his parents if his newest sibling turns out to be a boy.

Oddly enough, his speech is somewhat plain for someone of his personality and social status.

Lester takes after his father; tall and thin with short-cropped blue hair and blue eyes. His style of dress is simple, and carries himself with just enough grace to mask the slouch of his personality. His Holsety mark is located on the right side of his lower back.
